How We Help

Camp

The founders and board members of Majestic Kids have been operating a Royal Family Kids camp through the local church for the past ten years. At camp, children are paired with a dedicated volunteer counselor. Activities have included swimming, tubing, laser tag, archery, arts and crafts, basketball, ga-ga ball, rock climbing, etc. The highlight of the week is a birthday party celebrating all of the children’s birthdays from throughout the year, complete with cake, presents and a carnival! Many have stated that it is their first birthday party ever. Campers are aged 7-12. Lives have been changed through overwhelming experiences of acceptance and connection through God’s love for each child. Learn more at royalfamilykids.org!

Teen Retreat

Every year we have the privilege of taking our camp graduates for a weekend long getaway to spend time with other graduates and their camp counselors and staff. It is a weekend retreat;  campers leave this weekend refreshed and wanting more. The relationships they build are so meaningful to them! This makes teen retreat all the more important but also gives us at Majestic Kids the drive to do more.

Mentorship

Once a month, we meet to celebrate, hang out, sing, do crafts, eat together and go on outings. Mentor Club is open to anyone who has been to camp, ages 7 to 14. Each student is paired one on one with a mentor who invests their time and energy into helping a child be the best version of themselves. The kids look forward to connecting each month with their mentor and with each other. Each child's birthday is also celebrated with treats and a gift card to be spent on a special outing with their mentor. Positive adult role models can make a difference by filling in the gaps left by negative life experiences. The teen years are some of the most crucial in setting the stage for adulthood. We want to be there through these challenges and are honored to build trust with our mentees.
